So, Alex O'Loughlin is sitting in your lounge room and noone is going to believe you unless you post a picture B)

It's easy.

Step 1

Point and shoot. Pick self up off floor, try to ignore sizzling hunk of manhood reclining on your sofa whilst you make your way to the computer.

Step 2

Go here...

...and sign up for a free account. Once you've done that, and logged in, you will notice a little area at the top righthand corner of the page that says.

"Upload Images and Videos"

If you want to upload an image stored on your computer. Click on the button that says "Choose Files" (with your left mouse button) and navigate to where the image is stored. Then click on the image, click open, and sit back and wait for the image to upload. It will give you the option of adding tags, description and title when it is finished. All of these are optional.

Click on "return to page".

Your image is now uploaded and ready to post.

Step 3

There are two different ways to post an image on here. You can either cut and paste the Image URL or click on the 'insert image' button and enter the URL for the image. URL is Uniform Resource Locator, it is the Web Address where your image is stored.

Image URL

Underneath your uploaded picture there will be a number of boxes with descriptions next to them. Place your mouse cursor inside the box that has IMG Code next to it, and click once. Then press the CTRL button and the letter C on your computer at the same time. Come back to the thread you want to post the image in on here, and click where you want the image placed, and then press CTRL button and the letter V at the same time. This will paste the previously copied code.

Then hit reply and the image should appear.

Insert Image

As you did with the Image URL, except this time copy the text in the box that says 'Direct Link'. Then come back to the thread you want the image to appear in on here, and click on the button at the top of the posting window that says "Insert Image" when the mouse cursor is hovered over it. It's the second button after the little yellow smiley. Then simply do a CTRL-V again and click on ok.

The code for your Image to appear should now be automatically posted.

I am amending this post.. I am going to start to enforce some new image posting guidelines site wide:

1)No hotlinking to other sites.. photos should be in a photobucket or similar account.

2)Photos should be no wider than 500 pixels..if they are..they need to be posted as clickable thumbnail.

This means that if your image is over 500 pixels wide.. and you don't resize it..
then instead of using the "img" code on photobucket.. you need to do the following
in your photobucket album...

1) Click on little check box under image(s) you want to post.
2) Go to the bottom of the page and click on "Get html code"
3) A new little window will open..with around 5 different codes..
highlight and copy the one that says "Clickable thumbnails"
4) Paste that code in your post.

Dyeve.. you need to be logged in to post photos.
Guests can't post images.. it looks like you were not actually "logged in" when you tried to post.
